“In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, and went away to a seculeded place, and was praying there.” Mark 1:35
Reflecting from Narragansett on all that God has been doing during this July Directed Retreat:
— Our Directed retreat is conducted in silence and includes generous amounts of time for personal prayer and reflection.
— Participants are growing in friendship with God through prayer, relaxation, the beauty of nature and meeting with a spiritual director daily.
— Retreatants are able to more keenly listen and respond to the movement of God in their lives.
The life of a disciple of Jesus is a life of commitment. This life is at once beautiful and challenging. Difficulties often arise, whether from success or failure. Nevertheless, Jesus always calls us again. Retreats invite us to hear Jesus’ call to come away, rest a while and to listen.
We’re grateful for the ways that God is moving in the hearts and lives of all who have been here this week.
These retreats are open to anyone who desires to grow in friendship with God through prayer.
